Weekly Water Treatment

A swimming pool or any water feature for that matter should be treated with care in order to look and feel as its owner wishes. With the use of the right kind of chemicals in the correct manner this is easy to achieve. There is a weekly need of monitoring the PH and Chlorine levels in the pool and that is done with the use of Test Strips or Solutions. Below is a list of the chemicals that are necessary to sanitise and balance the pool, as both are necessary for its well being.

SANITIZING CHEMICALS

  • Sodium chlorine (25kg/10kg)-(Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate 60% Granular)

Chlorine is the most popular and widely used pool disinfectant. It rapidly dissolves in water.

  • Maxi tablets slow dissolve (25kg/10kg)-(Trichloroisocyanuric Acid 90%) slow dissolve tablets are ideal for the times when you can’t give your pool daily attention. Recommended mostly for tile pools.
  • Multifunctional tablets slow dissolve-TRIPPLE ACTION – Chlorine Algicide and Flocculant all in one tablet
  • Algicide 3L/5L
Prevents algae from growing through a weekly dose.
  •  Flocculant 3L/5L
It clarifies dull or cloudy water by collecting suspended fine particles so that they can be more easily removed by the filter. It substantially improves the filtration efficiency when used on a weekly basis. Also acts as a water polisher when maintaining constant weekly dosage.
  • Calcium Granular-CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE
Ideal for speed treatment of your pool during periods with intensive algae problems.

BALANCING CHEMICALS

  • Dry Acid (Granular) 15kg/25kg (Sodium Bisulphate)-PH Down.
A simple way to reduce PH whenever levels rise above the recommended 7.2
  • Soda Ash (Granular) 10kg/25kg (Sodium Carbonate) PH up.
It must be used to raise the PH of the pool water if it falls below 7.2
  • Stabilizer (Granular) 10kg –Cyanuric Acid.
Minimizes Chlorine evaporation.  It is vital when a Salt Chlorinator system is in use.
