LED lighting

The LED, acronym for Light Emitting Diode, is an electronic device which is emitting monochromatic light via an electric current.
Today it is possible to replace conventional incandescent, halogen or fluorescent tube lighting (so called energy saving) for domestic purposes with LED lights. The primary characteristic, which constitutes the difference between the LED technology and the traditional technologies is the high quantity of emitted light (called luminous flux and expressed in lumen).

The most recent generations of LED designs for professional use are working with 120 lm/Watt. A 60 Watt incandescent bulb is emitting a luminous flux of roughly 550 lumen. It is easy to conclude that the relations between the two technologies could get to a ratio of 1:10.

Further more the advantages of using the Italian made Teclumen LED Lights are:
Long duration of life: 100.000 hours provide minimal maintenance cost
High efficiency  significant energy savings;
Very high resistance to impacts and vibrations contrary to conventional bulbs
No ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) rays  harmful to human health;
Directable light flux: the light is directed only to the desired direction;
No use of mercury, lead or heavy metals thus environmentally friendly
Small dimensions  LED devices can be built in very small bodies.

Before and after sale service is assured by Crystalline trained staff. After an on site visit and a look at the structural planning, our staff can provide the customer with the precise LED equipment needed to illuminate the required space. In addition consulting will continue regarding the installation procedures and any further enquiries that may arise in the future.
